  • Maximum depth of 30 msw.

Decompression Nitrox – £299

Aim

This course examines the use of Nitrox for bottom gas and Nx 50 for staged decompression to a maximum depth of 45 msw.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing Nx22 – Nx40 for bottom gas and up to Nx 50 for accelerated decompression for dives not requiring staged decompression longer than 20 minutes.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18.
  • Minimum certification of ITDA Nitrox Diver (or equivalent).

  • Be physically and mentally fit.
  • Have DAN insurance (or equivalent).

Required

  • Minimum 4 days with at least 10 hours for classroom/briefing.
  • Confined open water – 1 dive for familiarization of equipment and to develop skills.
  • Open water dives – 6 (with a minimum accumulated bottom time of 120 minutes).
  • Minimum depth of dives 20 msw, maximum depth 45 msw.
  • Maximum decompression on each dive 20 minutes.

Technical Nitrox – £349

Aim

This course provides training and experience required to competently utilise Nitrox for dives up to 55msw that require staged decompression, utilising Nx 50 and Oxygen during decompression.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the proper techniques, equipment requirements and hazards of deep air diving to a maximum of 55msw and utilising Nx 50 and Oxygen for staged decompression.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18.
  • Minimum of 60 logged dives, of which 25 must be deeper than 30msw (15 dives must have been carried out using Nx) and 10 using staged decompression.
  • Certification as an ITDA Decompression Nitrox Diver.

  • 4 dives must be deeper than 40msw with 2 dives to a maximum of 55msw.

Trimix Level 1 – £399

Aim

The ITDA Trimix (Level 1)Course provides the training required to competently and safely utilise breathing gases containing a maximum helium content of 55% and a minimum oxygen content of 15% for dives that require staged decompression, utilising trimix, nitrox and oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 65 msw.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilising custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18.
  • Minimum certification as an ITDA Decompression Nitrox Diver and ITDA Technical Nitrox (or equivalent).

.

Trimix Level 2 – £499

Aim

The ITDA Trimix (Level 2) Course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize breathing gases containing helium for dives that require staged decompression, utilizing nitrox and/or oxygen mixtures during decompression to a maximum depth of 100 msw.

The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilizing custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum age 18.
  • Minimum certification as an Technical Nitrox Diver and Trimix( Level1) diver.
